In collaboration with the Penang State Government, the industry through the Penang Science Cluster (PSC) will once again hold the Penang International Science Fair on April 13^th and 14^th, 2013. 

The one-day Penang International Science Fair held in Dec 2011 was a great success. Since then, there has been tremendous amount of encouragement, both from the industry and the community, to extend the duration of the event and make it even more exciting. In view of this, the 2013 Penang International Science Fair will be held over two days at Straits Quay from 11am to 8pm on April 13^th and from 9am to 6pm on April 14^th .

The objective of the Penang International Science Fair is to enhance the efforts of the Penang Science Cluster’s mission to “Inspire Innovation in Science”. We aim to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators. We will accomplish this by introducing the children to science and engineering through a series of innovative and stimulating “hands-on” experiences that are specially created by the industry, government agencies and educational institutions for this purpose. 

The Penang Science Fair is also a platform to showcase the depth of technologies that exist in Penang and the science behind each company’s products and services. However, this fair is not only a place for exhibitions and learning. It is also a place to have fun in a scientific way with interactive sessions for visitors and their children.
