Flamingo Hotel adopts three bus shelters

Flamingo Hotel by the Beach in Penang has taken the initiative to adopt and beautify three bus shelters in Penang. This eco-friendly project was launched on 3 January together with Flamingo Hotel’s ‘100 for RM100’ campaign by the Penang State EXCO for Tourism Development and Culture, YB Danny Law Heng Kiang.
The three bus stops which are located in front of the hotel in Tanjung Bungah, in front of Tesco Tanjung Pinang and in front of St Nicholas Home for the Blind have been made “green” by landscaping plants and decoration. Spotlights are also installed on top of the bus shelters which will be lighted up from 7pm to 7am daily. This project benefits tourists and locals who prefer to take the bus and will also encourage more people to use public transportation.
In its recent ‘100 for RM100’ campaign, Flamingo Hotel is offering 100 rooms for RM100 nett each from 1 March to 30 May 2013. Booking period for this promotion is from now until end of January. Those who are interested can log on to http://penang.flamingo.com.my/ for reservations and more information.
