Chinese New Year Open House

The Chinese New Year Celebration is no longer a celebration for only the Chinese Community where family members reunite and spread joy and love. In fact, has morphed into a celebration for all Malaysians. It is during times like this, we take the opportunity to rekindle our friendship with friends and neighbours regardless of race and creed.

In conjuction with Chinese New Year celebration, the Penang State government invites everyone to attend our annual Open House as below:

Chief Minister’s Chinese New Year Open House

Date: 10^th of February 2013

Venue: PISA

Time: 10am- 1pm

Penang State Chinese New Year Open House

Date: 14^th Feb 2013

Time: 8pm onwards

Venue: SJK (C) Keng Koon, Bukit Tambun

Penang State Chap Goh Meh Celebration & Open House

Date: 24^th Feb 2013

Time: 6pm- 11pm

Venue: Padang Kota (Espalande)

Visitors can catch special performances including Lion Dance, Chingay and cultural dances during these events.

So do join in with this Chinese New Year celebration to experience our multi-ethnic culture, and to rejoice and proudly the New Year of The Snake 2013.
